Welcome to the YERO
• YERO (Young European Radio Operators) is a community built by young hams, for young hams with the aim of uniting as many European youngsters that are interested in the hobby as possible. YERO was founded in June 2026 by three young ham radio operators, Felix (OH2OBU), Frankie (M9VXR) and Joni (OH8EFI) with a dream to some day reaching 10 members. As of mid-August 2026 we have reached 85 members and YERO provides a lot more than just a community to youngsters that are interested in the hobby - we also provide members with a remote station run by the staff of YERO using our UK division's club callsign G5YEH, a self-hosted logbook called Wavelog, and much more!
• We are a community of young amateur radio operators located in Europe. We are a welcoming community who are happy to help any new people who are just licensed or are working their way towards a license.
